The Skills Evaluation and Career Management Panel, moderated by Mike Erpenbeck, is oriented to the early-mid career geoscientists attending the conference. Those wanting to broaden their hard and soft skills as an overall plan to prepare for the changes that will occur throughout their careers. Those simply needing career direction (or motivation) in a realm they haven’t thought too much about.
The panel includes an eclectic mix of representatives from the skills training industry, some well experienced, seasoned individuals who have built a successful business by recognizing and adapting to the twists and turns of the industry, and some younger visionary entrepreneurial minded folks who are in the trenches, helping to make the rapid changes of E&P technology happen, by building businesses around it.
